Beware the Napoleon’s army is ready to strike! This time however personified by the chessmen. The majestic and pround knight seems to match with Marengo – favourite Napoleon’s knight named this way after his victory in Marengo battle. The rooks as well are very characteristic as they are thin and high rather than solid and small. All pieces are slim only the knight being robust, defiant and overshadowing any obstacle that appears on its way. The black pieces are made of redwood thanks to which their appearence is absolutely fascinating.
